Pneumatic Manipulator

he pneumatic manipulator is the ideal automation for preparing the bill of materials within the Perseo automatic warehouse.

The aim is to improve the preparation time of the operator by reducing error margins and automating the production process.

The manipulator can be inserted into Perseo Matrix Components, automatic warehouse for managing all types of components, and into Perseo Matrix Fabrics, to manage the swatch and colour cards’ sections.

Instead of being picked up in the bay by the operator, the components entered in a bill of materials are handled with the manipulator, moved to a dedicated tray, and brought to the bay. The operator will then have all the components ready to be shipped to the customer.

The manipulator works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, helping at peak times such as after a trade fair and preparing orders for the customer even during the weekend.

Each manipulator is custom-built according to the objects to be handled and the customer’s needs. Some examples already realised are:

Suction cup: used in the textile industry to move swatch and colour cards and create selections to be sent to the customer.
Compression: placed in the warehouse of a company that sells gift ribbons. It is ideal for taking each package of ribbons, even of different consistencies and diameters, and preparing the order to be sent to the customer.
