The rolls stored in the warehouse are delivered according to the bill of materials:

• to the bay when a whole fabric roll is needed
• to the rolling/unrolling machine with cutting machine in case a sample rolls is required.

In the case of sample rolls, the automatic warehouse provides the required quantity of fabric, with no need to search for the “mother” roll, carry it manually to the cutting department and then bring it back to storage.

After the fabric is cut, the automatic warehouse working in masked time provides the operator with a new roll to make the next cut and automatically stores the already cut fabric roll.
