Perseo Handling Fabrics is the logistics system developed to automatize the sorting and roll preparation phases for the textile sector.
The system can manage both cut and whole fabric rolls. It automatically divides the fabrics and organizes them into boxes, ready to be shipped to the customers, according to the bill of materials (B.O.M.).
Every plant is equipped with a smart software while directs the internal movements, guaranteeing that each roll is sorted in the right box. Cut control is done through bar code, QR code, data matrix o tag RFID. This allows complete and real-time control over which fabric rolls to deliver to customers, eliminating human error.
This structure is ideal for all textile companies that realise many fabric cuts on the daily or have to handle a high quantity of rolls to send to customers. While the operator is performing the cut, Perseo Handling prepares the next box in masked time, distinctly improving the operational efficiency of the department.
Every Perseo Handling logistics system is equipped with a touch screen computer with an easy and intuitive software showing the boxes.
The PC screen displays the position of each box, their level of fullness and when they are ready to be retrieved by the operator.
The logistics system’s software can be connected to the enterprise resource planning (ERP) to directly prepare the boxes according to the bill of materials.
All Perseo Handling systems are a custom-made project, keeping in mind the specific needs of the customer, the available space in the facility and number of daily fabric cuts. There are no standardised solutions: each configuration comes from a detailed technical analysis of the production context to ensure an optimal and efficient workflow, perfectly integrated with the already existing operations of the production plant.
This tailored approach allows us to realise high-functional machinery, that seamlessly adapts to the operational reality of every customer.
The structure is made of different elements: automated transportation systems such as tape and roller conveyors, devices for sorting fabric rolls and shuttles to move the boxes when they are ready.
Thanks to the advanced tracking systems, Perseo Handling can control every single fabric roll in real time across the entire logistic flow.
All cut and whole rolls are identified and monitored autonomously, guaranteeing constant visibility of their status, position and destination.
This permits the reduction of human error and the optimization of preparation times for the boxes to ship, ensuring precision and speed in delivering to the final customer.
Perseo Handling is designed to reduce the manual intervention of the operators to a minimum, eliminating physical effort in the handling of fabric rolls which is usually done manually.
The plant manages in complete autonomy sorting operations, movement and positioning of the material inside the boxes to deliver.
Therefore, the operator does not perform repetitive tasks anymore and they will be at a lower risk of injuries or occupational diseases. This makes the work environment safer and more efficient.
Operators will not have to manually handle articles in the company, but logistics system Perseo automatizes the entire process, reducing preparation times.
Every plant is equipped with a made-to-measure human-machine interface, which allows complete control and to know in real time when a box is ready to be picked.
Perseo Handling can be controlled remotely, seeing in real time the boxes being prepared for delivery and keeping everything under control even from a distance.
Perseo can be directly linked to the enterprise resource planning, automatizing tasks according to the bill of materials. It represents an advantage for the 4.0 or 5.0 Industry.
Perseo Handling system automatically prepares boxes for shipping to customers, eliminating physical effort and musculoskeletal disorders for the operators.
Every Perseo Handling logistics system is custom-made based on the number of daily cuts, space availability in the department and specific needs of each customer.
